There’s street, beach and home-cooked food in abundance in North Devon at the moment and the following is a list of those we’ve noticed or read about. The days mentioned below are generally when they are there. Check their websites to double check they’ll be there on the particular day and also to see some of their menus.

Phansit’s Kitchen Authentic Thai food on Wrafton Road in Braunton on many Wednesday evenings and in Fremington on Saturday evenings.

Calaca Loca Taqueria Truck serving chilli, tacos,quesadillas & salsas run by Harry. In Braunton on Friday evenings 5-8pm. You can also pre-order by telephone.

Nona’s Kitchen Authentic, home-cooked Indonesian food. Take-away from Heanton, near Braunton on Saturdays 5-8pm

Monty’s Caribbean Kitchen Caribbean food run by Patrick and Angelina. You can also pre-orders by telephone.

Barricane Beach Cafe Serving delicious home-made Sri-Lankan curries at the beach just above Woolacombe.

Miles Fish and Chips Fish and chips in the middle of Georgeham on Monday nights from 5-8pm.

Magical Mosaics handcrafted by Kim Sayer

logoMagical Mosaics offer workshops throughout the year for all ages and abilities to be able to make your own mosaic. It is based near Woolacombe and run by Braunton local Kim Sayer with workshops from £25 per person. Kim is a mosaic artist who trained as a silver smith gaining a BA Honours Degree at Middlesex University.
